Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
Welcome to XpressTools (the “Service”), the brand hub located at xpresstools.dev, which links to the XpressTools family of sites.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. What this Service is
XpressTools is a directory and brand portal.
The Service itself does not process, upload, convert, analyze, or store your files or content. Instead, it links to related tool sites operated under the XpressTools family of brands, including but not limited to:
- XpressDevTools
- XpressImgTools
- XpressLogViewers
- XpressFileConverters
Each individual site operates independently and may have its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that apply once you visit or use that site.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the Service or its infrastructure;
- Engage in denial-of-service attacks, exploit attempts, vulnerability scanning, malicious automation, or abusive scraping;
- Copy, clone, mirror, or reproduce substantial portions of the Service’s content, branding, layout, or functionality to create a competing service;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, APIs, or non-public functionality associated with the Service;
- Use automated means to excessively query, monitor, or harvest content from the Service in a way that negatively impacts operation or availability.
We reserve the right to restrict or block access to protect the Service, its infrastructure, and other users.
3. No warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE OPERATOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
- MERCHANTABILITY;
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
- ACCURACY;
- RELIABILITY;
- AVAILABILITY;
- SECURITY;
- NON-INFRINGEMENT; AND
- THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF DEFECTS.
We do not guarantee that the Service or any linked sibling site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You are solely responsible for independently evaluating and validating any information, outputs, recommendations, links, or functionality before relying upon them for production, business, legal, financial, security-sensitive, or mission-critical purposes.
4. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SERVICE OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
- Lost profits;
- Lost revenue;
- Lost business opportunities;
- Lost goodwill;
- Lost data;
- Security incidents;
- Business interruption; or
- Any other commercial or economic losses,
arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Service;
- Your inability to use the Service;
- Reliance on any content or linked resource; or
- Interruptions, inaccuracies, errors, or omissions.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) CAD $100; OR
(B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO USE THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Because the Service is generally provided free of charge, this limitation may effectively be limited to CAD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service operator from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights; or
- Content, actions, or activities performed by you through the Service.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how technical information may be processed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its:
- Branding,
- Logos,
- Visual design,
- Copy,
- Layout,
- Code,
- Structure, and
- Original content
is owned by the Service operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Service through a normal web browser for personal or business use, but you may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, copy, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Service without prior written permission.
8. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party services and providers, including but not limited to:
- Cloudflare (security, TLS, edge services, Turnstile challenge);

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and conditions.
We are not responsible for third-party systems, outages, policies, or behavior.
9. Linked sites
The Service links to other websites, including sites operated under the XpressTools family of brands and unrelated third-party websites.
Once you leave this Service, your use of any linked website is governed solely by that site's own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of external websites.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time.
The current version will always be available at this URL and will include the updated effective date.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Suspension or termination
We reserve the right, at any time and for any reason, to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice.
Sections relating to:
- Disclaimers,
- Limitation of liability,
- Indemnification,
- Intellectual property,
- Governing law, and
- Dispute resolution
survive termination.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
